Made the list of UK car makers 2020
Slide 78 of 89: Developed along the lines of a trials car, the Tempest is a simple, light roadster with styling along the lines of a 1930s sports car. It’s built on a robust steel chassis and used tough, reliable Reliant running gear, which again is rooted in the sport of trialling where many Tempests compete. The first Tempest cars were offered in 1987 by its creators Ian Foster and John Box, but the car is now under the wing of Joe Mason, who also runs Reliant Spares from the company’s base in Worcestershire.
